Anthony O'Hare received a BЅc degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Mathematical Physics from University College Cork in 1995 and an MSc in Computational Physics from Salford University in 1996. He then worked for British Nuclear Fuels Ltd simulating neutron radiation transport before working as a software engineer for Logica CMS and Thales. He completed a PhD in Condensed Matter Phyics (part-time) in 2007 from the University of Loughborough while working at the University of Oxford and then as a consultant for Sungard. He took up a post-doctoral researcher position at the University of Glasgow in 2010 and took up his current position as lecturer of mathematics at the University of Stirling in 2013 where he leads the Biological modelling research group and is the Program Director the the undergraduate mathematics degrees.
